Got this in an email tonight from savedisney. What are some of your wishes for positive changes at Disney? I am going to be thinking this over, but thought it would be interesting to hear other thoughts.

Some that come to my mind...
bring back traditional animators, quit with the sequels already, shows no imagination there
strengthen Imagineering instead of weakening them
PARKS! I could go on and on... cleanliness, maintenance, buses, etc.

The email -
We'd like to hear from you about the positive changes needed at The Disney Co. We've received countless examples of things that haven't gone right at the Company in recent years. We'd like to ask you to redirect those thoughts a bit and give us a 10 point (bullet point) list of positive changes you would like to see take place at your favorite entertainment/media company.

Please send us an email with your contributions. We'll compile a master list of the most repeated items and share them on the site. We also want your views so that Roy and Stanley can be responsive to shareholders and customers needs when the time comes to implement change. Write in and be heard!

Bring back early entry to the park for resort guests.

I remember a few years back hearing (don't know if it's true or not) that WDW had 24 paint crew that constantly touched up the WDW grounds. Our past 2 trips, I've noticed that alot of the signs seem faded, just not very fresh. I'm assuming this is a place to cut costs, but is one of the 1st things people see when driving into WDW.

I can't think of anything else right now, we've noticed on recent trips down but forget once we get home.

this might seem dumb, but i think they need to get the CMs to be a little more outgoing.. they never really talk much.. i like it when they talk for a few minutes.. one of my favorite things on my trip in June was the CM who came up and talked to us after Fantasmic.. it was pretty cool, i felt like he cared whether i liked the show or not :teeth:

Clean the parks better.

Clean the bathrooms better.

Be more selective in hiring CM's-- only really nice, interested CM's, not just whoever will stick it out. That might mean paying them better.

Make CM's enforce smoking rules so non-smoking guests won't have to.

I would much rather see higher prices than bigger crowds.

With 20,000 LUTS old ride attraction area, besides being a character meet and greet.::yes:: :wave2:

they are :) they are fillin' it in i guess... thats what i heard in June anyway.. it was all blocked off... i smell a new atraction

I'll second the thought that I'd like to see CM's enforce the smoking areas.

My only little peeve is that I've heard CM's, especially in the monorail loading area, just complaining incessantly about their job, their supervisor, etc. Not so much in the parks, though I've heard ot there too. A few years ago, I never heard such talk.

Maybe if they paid the CMs a living wage, they could be more selective in who they hire. I'm sure it would attract a better quality of employee.

Sorry, but my entire family and I hate the buses. Drivers are great, but the buses are overcrowed, stinky, and slow. They keep building more and more hotels, DVC, etc. but they need to be more efficient in getting those people around.

For an entertainment facility that has the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, they can do better than a transportation system that was developed over a century ago.

Take a hint from Vegas.
