Inspired by my disappointment about how the DDP has changed many restaurants, and not in a good way........

how about we gather a list of places that do NOT take the DDP?

I have no clue so anyone else wanna start the list? LOL

All the restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin do not take the DDP. We didn't go to any sit-down restaurants there, but one afternoon I walked over there from the Boardwalk Resort when we were spending the day by the pool, and I grabbed a burger from the Picabu Buffeteria. It was made to order, fresh and delicious! I wanted a small one so I ordered from the kids' menu for myself. Definitely way better than the burgers in the theme parks, perhaps because it was made fresh!

Other places I know of that don't take the DDP are Fulton's in DTD, Bistro de Paris in Epcot, Ghirardelli in DTD, Bongos in DTD. I'm sure there are some more I am not remembering.

By the way, many of the places I mentioned above do accept the Tables in Wonderland card. So if you are either a FL resident or an AP holder, you can purchase this card and it will give you 20% off everything including alcohol. We used it in July and we loved it!

They may not be part of the DDP but they do take Disney Reward Dollars. We used them last time we dined at Fulton's.

Most of the TS restaurants at DTD do not take the dining plan, or a least the basic or deluxe dining plans. The only two TS restaurants that do take it are Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Raglan Road. That leaves a lot of places that do not take it. However, some TS restaurants at DTD take the premium or platinum plans.

In the parks, or Disney owned resorts, the only TS restaurants to my knowledge that do not accept the dining plan are Bistro de Paris in Epcot and Rainforest Cafe in AK (although I believe this place accepts the premium plan).

The restaurants in the Swan and Dolphin hotels and the DTD Disney hotels as they are not Disney owned, do not accept the plan.

The highest level of non-DDP dining is at: (no particular order)

Victoria & Albert's
Blue Zoo
Il Mulino
Kimono's
Shula's
Bistro de Paris
Wolfgang Puck Dining Room (upstairs).

The Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian is also not included on any plan.

Dang!! LOL

I must say though the restaurants listed do have more good reviews than bad so while short it appears fairly accurate!

It is a short list and the majority of them are located at DTD or the Swan/Dolphin.

The restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin are superb, of course it's only my opinion. I've had good and bad meals over the years at the Disney DDP (and non DDP) restaurants I've eaten at, but overall the quality of the food (and service) have tended to be superior at the non DDP restaurants, I've also found the whole experience to be less rushed, and usually less noise.

Most of these have already been mentioned I think, but I pulled this list from an old thread and pasted it here so the list would be in one place. :goodvibes
