Now that I have your attention . . . Does your cabin door and adjoining door lock from the inside. DH & I are hoping for a little alone time (KWIM  ) and I want to make sure that our teenager won't be able to just swipe his key card to get in.

Um, don't know about your question, but when will you be cruising, what is your stateroom number, and do you have a verandah or outside stateroom? Thanks in advance!

I have never had connecting doors but I assume they work like the ones in hotels. You should be able to lock it from both sides.

Now, as for the KTTW card, there is a deadbolt on the door that will prevent anyone from getting in, even if they have a KTTW for that room. I had my niece deadbolt herself in the room one evening, not knowing that I could not use my KTTW card to get back in. Well, I was locked out and and she was dead asleep and no amount of knocking or calling on the phone would wake that child up. I finally had to go to Customer Service and one of the ship's officer was able to let me in after verifying who I was.

So, go ahead and make whoopie :rotfl: !!!!!

LOL...The main cabin door has an extra lock on it so even with your key card you can't get in. The adjoining doors have locks on them also. Have fun:love:

What sunshine said, but you do know you won't be fooling your daughter at all, don't you? :lmao:

Oh yeah, and make sure you leave a tie hanging from the fish so she knows not to knock and disturb you.

You can hang a sign....if this ships a rockin...don't come a knockin!!!!
and remember....it's not the size of the wave but the motion of the ocean...

Ok..enough...I am done (sorry could not help myself).

Yes the door can lock from both sides and you do not have the ability to use a KTWC on them. They are double doors and if the kids open their door, they still have to knock and you have to open it. One of our cruises we took our teenage nanny with us. When she so nice left out after we went to sleep; she closed her door. Later that night, I had to go out into the hallway to use my extra KTWC to get into her stateroom. So you should be fine....:lovestruc Happy Cruizzzen and wish mine were older on our next sailing......;)

LOL, and yes please make sure to toss your comforter on the floor beforehand, because I don't think those things ever get washed. :scared1: :rotfl:
