Hello Brides and Bride's to Be!

I have a question about hair and makeup:

Who did you use????

I tried to request Patty Lejune, however, she (and her partners) are all booked up! :-(

Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?

Thanks!

I am using Beaute Special. They have been great to work with so far and very responsive to my inquiries and establishing the booking. Ana even popped home from a Discovery Chanel film shoot to make sure that they had received my fax, she was checking her e-mails on her blackberry and she did not want me to wait till the next day! Wonderful, I was happy to wait by the way. We are having a trial a few days before the wedding as we will be at Disney for the week before.

I have seen few brides trip reports who have used Beaute Special and the hair and make up has been great

Here is the website so you can look at the Portfolio link:

I am also using Beaute Speciale. I haven't had my wedding yet, but I have heard a lot of great things about them and the service this far has been great. They have been very quick to answer all of my questions, and Ana let me call over a credit card number instead of mailing it, because of where I live that is what was most comfortable for me.

We also used Ana for my daughter's wedding and she was great!!! Lily did the makeup. She was quick in responding to emails and phone calls, can't say enough wonderful things about her. Everyone was very happy with their hair and makeup. Make sure to book your date early with her though as she is very popular.

What company do Ana and Lily work with? :-)

Anna from Make Over Majic. She was great, very nice and sweet. Fun to chat with. She was on time, did great work. She followed the photo for my hair perfectly.

I did a trial about 10:00 am one day. She left my hair up (as it would be on the wedding day) I was in full make-up. then I went into Epcot, so I say from noon till 9:00 pm I was in the park, it was a hot day in May. My hair and makeup still looked great. The only think I need to re-apply was lipstick. Which was no big deal. So what ever products Anna uses, works well for Florida weather. And yes, we went on rides. Even did well on Test Track.

How far in advance did you guys book your hair/makeup? I'm a little over 10 months out but feel weird committing to someone already...

I don't really remember the date I booked, but I think I booked 8-10 months before the wedding. I knew who I wanted to go with, so I booked. I say when you know who you want, book it. That way you get who you want.

Also if you are doing anything like an MK photo shoot or another park, you will want to pick someone who will do the wedding day and the photo shoot day(if they are different days).

Is there a big difference between airbrush and regular? I don't wear makeup so this whole area is way out of my league!

They are Beaute Speciale. We used them and had the most amazing experience. I LOVED them. My hair and makeup could not have been any more perfect.

This past weekend I took pictures and asked someone to replicate it - they failed miserably. I looked horrible. The hair and makeup people are sooo important. I would def use Ana.

Good question! I've never had airbrush before but will for the wedding. Any thoughts anyone!

I'm using Ana from Beaute Speciale. I think I even booked about 12 months in advance, could have been even earlier. She did my make-up for my epics so I figured better to reserve in advance since I knew I wanted her.

If you don't wear much make-up the airbrush is probably better. It's lighter and really stays in place. But even with the regular make-up they will use a setting spray so that it lasts longer.

Call Debbie Holland www.debrasdos.com - she does tv and film stuff but also does weddings. I work in television and she does my makeup every week.

Coming from someone who's on tv, trust me.. airbrush is amazing. It basically gives you the coverage but it's super light, very even and doesn't give you the cakey feeling that some foundations can give you. It also lasts a long time!!!

Debbie is amazing. she works with a team of makeup and hair pro's. I think right now she's running a special where she doesn't upcharge for airbrushing.
If you call her, tell her I sent you.. Tracy Wiu. She's a very good friend and I will vouch that she is fabulous!!! TRUST ME!!!

It is so simple.Just go to the beauty parlor and try different kinds of hair styles. But i think that natural look is better then other.
