Makeover at BBB in DTD, what to do after?

My daughter was granted a wish through Make-A-Wish and will be doing the princess makeover at BBB at DTD. The reservation is at 1:10. I don't want to use a park ticket on this day as we get 1 day park passes and I don't want to only use it for 1/2 a day.

So what can we do after the makeover that will make her feel special, or do or see something special while she's all dressed up like a princess (but that is not in the parks)? We've checked into character meals but I'm not having much luck with reservations on her BBB day.

What a special day for your daughter! She will love BBB. Have you looked into having tea at the Grand Floridian? I went there with my mother when I was young and enjoyed it a lot! The Grand is a good atmosphere for little princess as well! They have an afternoon tea option as well as a special event princess tea.
Here's some more info from the Disney website:

Best wishes to you, your family, and your princess! :)

I would call Disney and see if they do anything to help if there is something she really wants to do .If your looking for something off Disney property and are up for the drive there is always the AG store at the Florida mall .You could have lunch there and there is also a place in Longwood called July's dolls she is a very sweet person and maybe if you explained your situation she might willing to work with you she has newborn nursery where can adopt a doll she even has dolls called babble baby that responds when you speak to it it's really cool experience and Judy will make it so much fun and she even puts your child picture with her doll on her website . (She will even set a time when she not normally open to come in and do this if you set it up head of time so you can see get the full treatment ) http://judysdolls.com/judys-doll-adoption.aspx

The initial answer is to keep checking. It's unfortunate that so many of the character meals are in the parks.

Have you checked Garden Grove at the Swan? I have never been there, but they have character dinners on some days.

Rain Forest Cafe and T-Rex are two places in Disney Springs that appeal to kids. If you opt for one of these the call the restaurant directly. You will have a better choice of times.

And there is always Ghiradelli's for dessert.

I agree to check and see about tea at the Grand Floridian! Have an early light lunch before her makeover.
Hope she feels like a princess!

I normally would say just use the ticket and do a half day. My best times at MK was getting in for mid afternoon and staying until close. It sounds like your situation might be more restrictive though and I would also want to ensure my daughter got a full day in MK.

The tea at grand floridian sounds perfect. You didn't mention where you are staying but the horse and carriage rides at port orleans might be nice, but I'm not sure they would be available after her makeover.

1900 park fare has the Cinderella happily ever after dinner, which would be a fun meal to attend in princess wear!
