Me too. If the kids too old for a Mickey shirt, why push it?

Her son doesn't seem too upset by it I doubt she held him down and forced him to wear it!

I doubt she made it so her kid could stand out in a crowd. It sounds like he thought all the Mickey shirts were "uncool," so she made him one that he liked. I think it is very creative and a fun and sweet thing for a mom to do for her child.

I agree! I am not saying that the whole goth thing is really my style, but I'd rather be around a teenager (goth, preppy, nerdy, jock) who's mom was interested in him enough to do something so sweet like that, than a kid who is rebelling against the world because he isn't getting enough attention at home. Good for her for being "into" her kids enough to know what they would think is cool!

I love it, always wanted to be a goth (deep down). All the cool stuff, boots dark tights, black hair.

You know I really dont care what my kids wear, as long as it is clean. I enjoy the fact that my kids are individuals. If they wanted to have green hair and purple socks...cool...as long as they did their best in school and were good kids who cares.

I like it! Don't think we'll see them at World or Disney anytime soon, but a good alternative for those "alternative" type kids. I have one of those too. Our solution to her gothness (or as her dad and I call it teen angst/pootiness) was to get her a lot of Jack Skellington stuff which was apparently cool enough for her.

Now you really wanna get people spun up? Design a goth princess t-shirt! I would LOVE to see that!

You know - I could make that my project this weekend.

I just painted it on there with Acrylic Paint. I dunno... I'm a free-hander.

Ummm - I stuck cardboard in between the layers so it wouldnt stick to the back. Thats the only tip I have.

My oldest daughter saw the Goth Tink and wants a Henna tat of it. She printed it off so she can get it during her Halloween slumber party.
