The other night, out of desperation, i put some cocoa powder on Breyer's SF ice cream, mixed well (about the consistency of soft serve ice cream) and poured Cheerios on top of that. It tasted just like a chocolate ice cream cone! The Dr. wants us to eat Cheerios every day and breakfast isn't always an option...wonder if he would approve eating them like this? :teeth:

Plain SF ice cream is sweeter to me than regular ice cream. Is it for you?

I wish I could find sugar free full fat ice cream. I could have the ice cream without the cheerios.

Sounds like you've invented a new "legal" treat for your way of eating.

WOW!! That sounds great. Will have to go to the store later to see if I can find the ice cream....have plenty of cheerios in the house. Thanks for sharing:)

It is surprisingly good. It doesn't take much cocoa.

Katholyn, I'd send you some but don't think it would make the trip. ;)

ooh, is the breyer's sf full fat? I've been eyeing up the sf ice creams and most of them are also nonfat. And they're made with aspartame.

I do have an ice cream maker.....as soon as its warmer here I think I'll have to try making a batch of Splenda sweetened full fat ice cream...ooh, even the super creamy kind!

ya know, it probably isn't full fat. but it is yummy!

I like it better than the real thing.
