Yes, thanks...now after spending an hr or so on that website not only do I not want to stay at any hotels anymore but I'm itchy in my own bed...YIPES...I always check the beds/mattresses when we travel and many people said they did this also on that website BUT still encountered bedbugs even after they thought their bed/room was bedbug free!!

There is nothing there to stop you from reporting bedbugs when you are mad that they didn't give you a free newspaper in the morning. All the hotel can do is dispute it. Look at some of the hotels on the Orlando list:

Yes I wondered about this as well. Some of the stories are quite detailed, but I also wonder how many of them are "disgruntled" guests for "other" reasons. Even SSR made the list and other Disney resorts which most certainly can happen but I wonder how many are really legit.

I'm wondering why, if this is such a big problem, there isn't a lot more chatter about it on these boards. You would think it would be a public relations disaster for the big names on that list and they would spend a fortune to avoid that.
