I made a ressie for 2 rooms today and chose to do it by phone instead of online so I could request connecting rooms. The second room had to be in my niece's name which is different from mine. When I got the email confirmation they had spelled her name wrong so I called back to correct it. Castmembers doing the bookings have to send the name correction request to Guest Services and cannot do it themselves. I was told this takes at least 24 hrs., could be more if they're busy. Meanwhile, she can't link her hotel to MDE thus hindering other plans we need to make. So......a word to the wise, double and triple check the spelling of all names before you hang up.
