Make over event

Does anyone but me sit in their room and hope the staff comes to make it over? Lol, what a bizarre game. They do not have a popup window to announce a winner, so you just sit there and talk to random ppl who come in and try to trade with you or whatever. And they never know about the event or they would not be out of their rooms, lol, so you have to keep explaining why you are sitting there. Or worry when you read your emails etc. that the staff might come in while you are not looking, lol.
