I just watched it for the first time since last season. What ever happened to the girl who ended up in the hospital last season from a gymnastics accident? I admit that I have a real hard time keeping everyone straight. And wasn't Summer formerly involved with someone and the stepmother of one of the girls? What happened there? I'm so confused. And it seems to be a big deal about Peyton's style changing to be more artistic. Is that something special? Anyone have any tips to fill me in?

Girl from hospital - Peyton while at first told she would never be a gymnast again - and went through all the angst of that - found a surgeon that would perform the surgery! Leaping lizards! She underwent the miracle surgery and she not only can walk, but yes, she can even to flips, turns, jumps and bouncing! She petitioned the National Committee to let her be on the team, but she was denied.

Summer was involved with Lauren's dad. But, he failed to mention his wife and her problems (sorry, I forgot what they are). Summer realized that he was not the guy for her. She dumped him, but wants to remains Lauren's friend. That girl needs a good therapist! She is a back stabbing manipulating bad person!!

payson was the girl that was injured. She had back surgery. While she was recovering, she grew an inch, now she is too tall to be a power gymnast and has to focus on being artistic.
Summer was involved with Steve Tanner (Laurens dad)
They broke up when Summer found out about Laurens mom.

Thanks! I kind of thought it had been Peyton in the hospital, but I was really confused when I saw her doing gymnastics this season. I figured I had the wrong girl. But I should have known about TV and its miraculous recoveries.
Does anyone know why Emily doesn't work at the pizza place this year? And I didn't see her brother in this episode. Is he still around?

Emily doesn't work there because she got a new scholarship (thanks to Lauren's dad) and it is double what she was getting before, so she doesn't need to have a job.

I think the brother is supposedly currently at some computer camp or something. He doesn't show up too often.
