Make a Wish, and Question

We just got home from our first ever Florida trip, and it was wonderful! First 3 nights was spent at the Sheraton World Resort for a conference, and the last 5 nights was spent at the GF. The Make a Wish sent us there for my son, and the GKTW Village was full, so they put us up at the GF. What a wonderful experience that was. I can’t begin to say how nice everyone was, especially all of the CM’s at the parks, when they saw his GKTW pin. Even got a private meeting inside the castle with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Wicked Queen and the Fairy Godmother. Everyone truly made it a magically experience for us all.
Going back to Disney Aug. 12th, as daughter is performing there. I plan on only spending the performance day at Magic Kingdom, then heading to the ocean. We are staying off property, and will have a car. Can someone tell me how much it cost to park at the parks for a day? Also, does anybody know how I can get a discounted ticket for the one day at MK, or if there is such a thing?

If I remember correctly, parking at the theme parks is $7.00 a day, save the receipt and you can have in and out privileges as well as go to another park.

There is no official discounted one day pass and you can't park hop with that, but you can buy a multi day hopper pass, which costs less per day, and save the unused days for a future trip anytime in your life.

Thanks for the info on the parking. Now, I have another question if you don't mind. When we were there a couple of weeks ago, my family (4 of us) had 3 day hopper passes. These were given to us from the Give Kids the World Village. One of the days, dd didn't come with us to the park, so only used his 2 days. When I go back next month, do you think I would still be able to use that one un-used day on dd's? I don't know what one of the 4 tickets it was though, that we put through the machine to let us in, do you think if I took all 4 of them, and just tried each one, that would be ok? Just trying to save a few $$, as I will only be going to the park one day. Thanks.

You could go to guest relations at the park and they will be able to tell you which ticket has the day remaining. It won't be a problem at all to use that ticket unless there is an expiration date on the ticket.

Some of the special tickets do have dates on them.
