There are instructions in post 2 that give one way you can post pics on the DIS....if you want to try a different route!

Okay, so I went to post 1 and 2 and my first thought was WOW! Maroo is so organized! Maybe she has OCD! I love it!

(When I found this board through google or bing or whatever it was they didn't take me nicely to page one of the thread. I saw that this thread was a part two and figured those pages were just old posts. Sorry for not reading sooner!)

So anyway, I did everything the photo instructions say to do except I used my blog, shutterfly, snapfish and flickr. I already have accounts with these ad wanted to try and avoid opening up yet another photo site account. Well, none of those attempts worked so I finally gave in and went to Photobucket and signed up. Except when I entered my info it told me someone with my email address already had an account! I was mad at first, then thought, hmm, maybe it's me? So I tried logging in and it WAS me! I forgot I had used them to make a slideshow for my old photography blog. Sheesh. So I'm going to try and upload through Photobucket now and if that doesn't work I GIVE UP!

But don't get too excited yet (and if you kids "know" me...please don't tell them yet, lol)...I don't know what my schedule is going to be quite yet. It tends to change often.

No worries, Piper is still clueless that I've even applied for her trip, I'm going to try to work it so she doesn't know until Christmas. A little afraid she'll be suspicious when the wish granters come, but figuring I'll just tell her they have to work out details waaaaaay ahead of time, lol.

First of all...HA! On my being OCD. I can't wait to tell some of my friends and co-workers this. If you could see my desk. Or my house. And my CAR.... You would be very sure that I am not OCD. lol

This is a very interesting point! I never thought about someone being brought here from Google?!?! And brought to the middle... Wow... I need to make sure all of our new people know that the 1st and 2nd posts are there! Thank you so much for pointing this out!

We had our wish presentation last night! Unfortunately, Wes was a bit tired and wasn't as enthusiatic as I had hoped, but we are all excited. We fly down next Tuesday, Wednesday is our big day at Discovery Cove, Thursday we have a tour at SeaWorld, and Friday we have WDW hopper passes. They didn't have anything planned for us for Saturday or Sunday!

I came home and used Disney Reward dollars to buy MNSSHP tickets for Friday night; we'll go to the Epcot Food and Wine festival on Sunday. Now to decide what to do on Saturday...

I'll post more later, but they gave us his MAW hat, shirt, and button last night, so we are set to go on those.

I can't wait to see Wes when he gets to see those stingrays!

Wow! Your trip is in less than 4 days! Congratulations! Your whole family must be so excited! You will love the Halloween party. It is a lot of fun!

Discovery Cove...

I just can't wait to see what magic awaits you guys there!

Sea World .. Have you been there? It is a BIG park. I thought it was going to be relatively small when compared to Disney...but there was a lot of walking! Make sure you feed the dolphins at some point... they let Wish Kids do that for free!

Friday looks like a low crowd at the parks...so hopefully you will be able to see a lot! Do you have just one day in Disney? One park hopper pass?

Where are you guys staying? Have you told us that already? I can't keep up!

I haven't been to SeaWorld Orlando, but we live in San Diego and go to the SeaWorld here frequently. (We'll be going there tomorrow morning for a fundraiser walk for our local Children's Hospital that Wes is being treated at - we've raised $1200 for the hospital, and I'm so happy about that!) I'm looking forward to seeing a different location!

We're staying at the Hyatt Regency, primarily because it is closer to SeaWorld, I think.

It looks like we just have one day hopper passes, but we got a very generous (IMO) expense check, so I don't mind buying more days as needed.

(We'll be going there tomorrow morning for a fundraiser walk for our local Children's Hospital that Wes is being treated at - we've raised $1200 for the hospital, and I'm so happy about that!) I'm looking forward to seeing a different location!

We're staying at the Hyatt Regency, primarily because it is closer to SeaWorld, I think.

It looks like we just have one day hopper passes, but we got a very generous (IMO) expense check, so I don't mind buying more days as needed.

I am glad you got a generous check. We did too...because we were not staying at GKTW...I considered it a perk, honestly.

Have you been able to get any ADR's for any restaurants? Do you need any help?

I wasn't able to book any ADRs, but I'm not worried. Meals are covered at Discovery Cove, we'll do CS at SeaWorld, and we've decided to put our food budget towards admission and food at the Food and Wine festival. Since this trip is all about Wes, we'll probably do whatever CS he wants instead of whatever fancy dinner I want.

Got a call from our wish granters today, they will becoming over on monday at 7pm to present everything to us. I am so excited, as are the kids.

Lucas got another present from Mickey in his wish mailbox and ran around the house screaming like a little girl.

If you need more than one day at Seaworld, you may be able to do a '2nd day free ' ticket - inquire at the booth just around the corner to the left after you go through the turnstyles.

Wes is one of our Wish Granter's first child as she just started volunteering with MAW - she made him a beautiful pillow for the airplane with embroidery on it, along with a fully-done scrapbook with all of the pages completed, except for pictures! (Which is fabulous, since I've never been very good at scrapbooking!)

We participated in a fundraiser at SeaWorld San Diego yesterday for our local children's hospital that treated Wes. Afterwards, he and I went to the park for trick or treating - at Wes' insistence, we spent about 30 minutes at the ray tank, with Wes feeding them, petting them, and quietly telling them that he would be swimming with friends of theirs soon. It was sooo sweet, it made me want to cry!
