What do you think of the Luau? Was the food good? The show good? How does it compare to the Polynesian's Luau?
Also, I checked the schedule to look for fireworks times. It said it was "seasonal and summer" but I couldn't find it on any schedule anywhere. We are going May 17th - 24th. Thanks for the help!

no they only have fireworks for New years and during the summer either end of may beginning of june to september.

I am also wondering more about this show and dinner. How was the food? Is it worth the extra $50 a person?

I checked the schedule for July to see if the fireworks were listed there but didn't see them. Is it possible it's just too early for it to be posted? :confused3

We did it for christmas this year and I think the show is a little different for christmas but I believe the food is the same. The food was good but we prefered the Poly's food much more. There was a house salad and hawaiian bread, rice, sweet and sour chicken, mahi mahi in some type of cream sauce (sorry we didn't try it so I am not real sure what it was) as well as bbq pork ribs. The chicken was very good as was the rice. There was also a peanut buter ice cream cake. That was yummy. We went with 3 children and they all got to order off a kids menu (hot dogs, cheeseburgers, ect.). I enjoyed the show itself. It was very good. It seemed more authentic then the Poly's to me. My vote is if you have the $ to do it then I would but if it was between this and something else I may not do it again. I hope this helps.

Sea World does have a nighttime show called Mystify which is seasonal and during the summer. It has similar water screen projections to Fantasmic and some fireworks. It's nowhere near as big a production as Disney nighttime shows and is seen from the Waterfront area.I did the Luau a couple of years back and thought it was pretty good,it's held in a room that's not too big so the show is pretty close to everyone and I had no complains about the food.
