Yesterday Disney surpassed my expectations again! We are staying at AKL and wanted to hit Pandora first thing and wanted to beat the crowds. It opened at 8:00am for Magic Hours and this board encouraged me to be there at 6:30 am to be at the front of the line. At 6:25 am there were no busses running from AKL according to the bus stop message signs, so we quickly called Uber and we were first in line at AKL at 6:30am! We were standing around in front of baggage check (which was not even open yet,) and a girl with a yellow vest came over to say hello. I told her we were from PA And wanted to be there very early because we were pumped to see Pandora. "Lauren" said because I was so excited she would reward me and my family with passes to each Pandora attraction that had no restrictions! We could come back any time all day and get to ride each once when we wanted. She then scanned my Magic Band and poof they all appeared under mydisneyexperience a minute later, with no time listed. Just wanted to let you all know how happy we were yesterday, it made my whole vacation!

The 6:30 time does pop up a lot. It's close, but in the case of the MK bus, you may miss the first bus, or in the case of the AK and Epcot buses, you may have to wait 45 minutes for the first bus. No matter what park, the rule of thumb is to to be at the bus stop 45 minutes before your rez time. The reason being that WDW bus service begins at least 45 minutes prior to the first reservation time of each dining location at a theme park.

The bus transportation page on "The HUB" lists these times as the bus service start times.

Buses to MK – 6:15 a.m.
Buses to DHS – 6:45 a.m.
Buses to Epcot – 7:15 a.m.
Buses to DAK – 7:15 a.m.

This is regardless of park opening times?

That is awesome!! We are planning to arrive early for 8:00 EMH in November. Do you think 6:30 was too early? How were the crowds around 7:00 am?

I think that 6:30 am was a bit early, but we did not want to take any chances! By 7:15 the lines were back to bag check. They let us in around 7:30 and rope dropped us with a few stops to Pandora. We were off the ride by 8:00am.
