Major mistake- anyone have answers?

Can someone explain the nonrefundable policy to me regarding BRP? I know there is a fee for changing the reservation- we were going to stay in 2 rooms for 2 nights in March and now we will need only one room for 3 nights in July. Can I transfer the reservation and get "charged" the fee once- or will it be one fee for each room on the reservation? Any info is helpful- thanks!

If it is two different registration numbers you will pay a cancellation fee for the one you cancel is my guess. But if under same reservation number then I think you will only have to pay change fee since it will be less then original resis.

BRP rates aren't out for summer yet, are they? I would imagine you can't make a switch until the dates are available, but I could be wrong.

Otherwise, as long as you are spending more money on the new reservation, you should be fine. However, you probably had to reserve the two rooms on two reservations, so that complicates things!

I'm sure there's someone on this board with better info than me. I probably shouldn't have even posted as I don't know how much help I've been!

We'll be on our first trip using BR in 9 days, so I'll have more of a feel for how this whole thing works after that. WOO HOO! Can't wait!

I would think that they would charge you one fee. If you have them under one confirmation number (each room), then your new ressie will be less than the old one therefore they will charge. If your ressie was 2 different confirmation numbers, then one will be canceled outright therefore charging you one $50 fee & the other confirmation number ressie would be just "postponed" and costing more since you will be needing 3 instead of 2 nights, therefore they will not charge you the fee. To me, that is the only logical way to look at it..$50 fee no matter how you look at it.... but with Disney, nothing is logical anymore.
