Major concert in October in Florida

Not posted here in a while....

If you are into your music, there is going to be a seriously big concert on 1 night in October in Orlando

There is going to be a series of 10 or so shows across America trying to influence people to remove Bush from office. And these gigs are going to be in swing states ie - Florida.

At the moment the Headliner is Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, as well as Pearl Jam, Neil Young, REM, James Taylor, the Dave Matthews Band, the Dixie Chicks and many more.

At present it's not known how this will work, If it's going to be just 1 show or a series of gigs across Florida at the same time.

I'll post more info after Wednesday if you are interested.

Wish I was there then. Should be a great concert. Seen the Boss twice in the UK on tour. Excellent shows.

Sadly there are no bands big or important enough that appeal to teenyboppers and 20 somethings that can bring in the column inches and media that this show will be about. The organisers needed heavyweight acts, that adults recognise and listen to. Remember this show is about removing Bush and getting non voters off their ***, Justin Timberlake is hardly going to do it now is he?
