Majesty or Empress?

CLUELESS and looking for help!

Landed a free cruise to the Bahamas on either the Majesty of the seas or Empress of the seas with RC. I have only sailed on Carnival many many years ago, so I have NO CLUE about cruising Which ship is better?

I can sail out of either Port Canaveral or Miami.

I would appreciate any advice ! thank you!

We've sailed on the Majesty of the Seas. It's a nice older ship that's been redone. As far as ports go, Port Canaveral is in a quieter area, while the Port of Miami is literally in the city.

How was the entertainment on the Majesty? I see that it is a smaller ship, I don't know if this means there are less shows and such.
