I know there are multiple threads and probably a spreadsheet somewhere that gives maintenance fee history by DVC resort

I have been searching for a bit but not come across exactly what I am looking for

what does VB (sub)mean in the list?

Early purchases at VB were (and still are) subsidized by DVC for their annual maintenance fees due to the original sales agreement. The subsidy was subsequently stopped after a certain point in the sales process when DVC made the decision to halt any construction across the highway as the original plan called for. I think those contracts are also grandfathered when purchased thru resale.
