Maingate Hotel - Renaissance World Gate

We will be at Disney in November. I have Marriott points that allow us to stay free at the Renaissance or Courtyard at WDW. Has anyone ever stayed at either?

It is either use my points or stay at like the Coronado or similar one for a $120 per night rate....

Those who have not, what is the trip like from the Maingate to Magic Kingdom? Thanks in advance for your help....

Stayed at the Renaissance last Sunday.
Very nice, clean place. Has 2 pools. It is near a very convenient 'back door' road to Disney.
Traffic on Hwy 192 is horrendous, however.

Travelcoupons --- On 192, the traffic is terrible....is that the road you take with the hotel shuttles to go to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, etc.....? Thanks

As another Minnesotan who's been to Disney many times, stay at the Courtyard DD.
