Maine resorts

Just wondering if anyone has used DVC to stay at any resorts in Maine. As it turns out we will have some unexpected vaction this July and would love to go to Acadia again. any thoughts? thanks.

Well, I have not used DVC as I am a new member but we have stayed right outside Kennebunkport. Is this close to where you are staying? Because we stay at a very nice 2BR that has a great view.

We have not used DVC for the resort near Acadia, but we have stayed several times at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel which is a short drive to Acadia and you are within walking distance of the restaurants downtown and the shore path.

I am from Acadia - never has there been a more beautiful place. We have two places there - one in SWH, and a cabin on Long Pond in Mt. Desert. I wish we could live there all year long,but unfortunately cannot at this point. With that being said, I would not hesitate to stay there on points. The resorts are all wonderful - you would not be dissapointed at all.
