Main Street In Nassau

I have been using the search to find some answers about main street, a lot of the post have a older date.

So is main street a good place to shop for purse's watches nice jewely etc. also you can walk to main street correct?

was only planning to stay out there for a couple of hrs and then let my 11 yrs back in the pool.

I would also love any advice on main street

Bay street in Nassau is the Main shopping area. You can walk there from the cruise ship.

If you look at this link you will see a map of Nassau, you can see where the ships dock and where Bay Street is, from the cruise ship docks to the Straw Market is all shopping. By the way the link is for the Pirates of Nassau Museum, but it was the only place I knew that had a decent map.

From the ship to the Straw Market and about a block beyond are all the shops. We only spend about two hours shopping and went back to the ship. Hope you find all you need.
