Main street Barber shop

Can anyone tell me is the Main street barber shop still there? Since I know that they added on to the Huge store there where it use to be. My DH is looking forward to a disney hair cut.

Yup, still there ... 2 chairs and sometimes can be a wait.

Maybe you can pull a prank on your DH like my DW did to me. She had Michel slip some Disney color (BLUE!) into my hair (it washes out fairly easily) and then as I was getting out of the chair, he sprinkled me with "pixie dust." The rest of the day at MK I was quite a sight -- blue hair and pixie dust scattering every time the wind blew through my hair!

The Barbershop is still there, and if you time it right, the Barbershop Quartet can sing for you at the same time!

Depending on when you were there, the barbershop may be located differently than you remember. At one time, it was at the end of the Emporium which is closest to the castle, next to the flower cart (which I believe is still there).

Now it is located right next to the front of the Emporium, between the fire station and the Emporium's entrance.

My BF is 52 and still likes to get a haircut there!!

The barbershop is one of our favorite memories now!! My dd, 9, had her hair trimmed there for the start of school. We just didn't have time to get it done when we got home. Michael was terrific. We met a lot of really nice people while waiting too. The day we were there it must have been Massachusetts day....at least 75% of the people waiting were from home!!! Get some really wacky color for your hair and the pixie-dust is key!!!!

The Quartet have a schedule when to go on stage. But there is no particular time to be any particular place, unless there is a special event. It's all a matter of pixie dust and luck.

They are strolling performers. They may perform anywhere along Main Street is my understanding and don't HAVE to be any particular place on it ant any particular time. I have been fortunate enough to even have them on my tolley and/ or bus serenading me while traveling through time to tomorrowland.
