Is this shop just for Men & boys?

I would love DD8 to get a trim there.

Has anybody ever experience getting the daughters haircut there and if so what exactly does it entail and any idea of costs.

All information really appreciated.

We had all of our 3 kids hair "done" at the barber shop. There are 2 barbers / hair stylists one women and one man. It is a small place. My DD3 got her 1st cut and they have a cute certificate and she got ears saying "my First haircut". They they put her hair up and put colored hair gel and confetti in it. I wasn't too thrilled about the hair goo and confetti and told them to keep it to a minimum, and they kind of did. In the end it looked really cute with her long pony and purple striped confetti. My older DD8 got her hair done the same as her sisters and it looked cute also. My DS6 got his hair spiked up with yellow "gel" and a "hidden mickey" on the back. The cut was $15 and the hair do's were $7ish.

There were people getting full cuts and others getting just the goo with confetti. It is fun to do just to say you did it. We did have to wait though like 35/40 minutes. We went during the parade and the kids watched the parade which goes nearly by the shop, while I was in line.

I have seen some pictures posted somewhere here that showed hair dos.

Anyone can get their haircut there. We always have DS2's hair cut and DH usually gets a cut too. Sometimes DD10 will get her hair cut or just get the glitter in it. Even my kid's Godmother has had her hair cut at the Barber Shop but wasn't really thrilled with the glitter that they put in her hair (it is SO hard to wash out!).

boys girls men and ladys can hav haircuts at the barber shop. i got it once and they cut the hair and then they put little mickey paper mache kind of things and so did my sis and u can also get a gel color and they make a mickey in the back of ur head.

We had DS hair cut and gel and glitter. I think in all it cost $20 or under with the tip. We has tried to go a for a few days and there was a long wait as there are only two chairs. I suggest getting to the gates before opening and as soon as the rope drops run right over to the barber shop. We were the first ones in when we did that. (on our way to Chef Mickey's for breakfast) About 5 mins after we got there a father and 4 kids walked in. That would have been a long wait!

I second that; we ended up with a very long wait but there was only one time we could go last trip. DD had her hair cut there for locks of love, and as it was her first real haircut, she got ears, too.

A child's haircut is $14. The color/confetti is $7.50, but it's free with a haircut. My kids have gone the past two years and really enjoyed it. We also got lots of great pictures.

*They no longer "style" girls' hair with the color/confetti. They will pull it up into a simple ponytail or something very easy. I've heard that before BBB they would do more, but it's probably best that they don't because I certainly wouldn't want to be waiting in line (no appointments) while several girls got their hair elaborately done. It was still very cute and my daughters loved it.

We took my DD last year at 3 to get her hair cut and they put in "Pixie Dust". It was so cute! Also, Michael (who cut her hair) made phone calls to find out where Mary Poppins was going to be for my DD. He asked her who she wanted to meet and that is who she said.

We are leaving in a couple of weeks and she started asking if she was going to get "pixie dust" in her hair again. I can't believe that she actually remembered.

We did it for DD#2's first haircut and have been waiting to go back for DD#3's first - she really needs one!!! I hope when we go it isn't too busy it would be fun for all the girls ot get their hair fixed.
