I just had to comment on your baby countdown! I like the "unless I'm feeling ultra snuggly" part...my ds was 22 days late! (Yes, it was 100% confirmed that he was really late and the dates weren't just wrong.) :bitelip:

my dd's got this done last yr. They didn't get their hair cut at all, just gel and pixie dust. They didn't do the mickey head shape, they only do that on boys with really short hair. Instead, they put the gel on the top of their heads. They didn't rub it in, just kind of put it on the top layer of hair. I can't describe it correctly. It was only on the top of their hair, and then the pixie dust went on top of that. DD's had it done the day we left and it lasted all of the next day, until I made them wash it out. I think it was around $5. I remember being surprised it was that cheap.

my dd got the mickey head and she has long hair they just put it up in a ponytail

When my son was waiting for his haircut we watched a number of young ladies -- one under ten, one well over 20 -- get their hair "decorated" at the barber shop. It's by no means just for boys, and the decorating -- lots of confetti-type stuff, as shown in one of the photos above -- was very festive!

How do you get it? Wait in line? Reservation? Is it open all day?

I loved those shirts too, but I loved the line better...something about sharing so much she gave her brother a kidney. I love a sense of humor!

I think the shop is open from Park opening till about 5:00. They don't take reservations and it is first come-first served. We have a great time there and look forward to getting our hair cut there.

Tiffer....thanks! I can never tell if people really get my siggie or not. I really did donate a kidney to my brother in 2002 and am glad to say he is doing extremely well!! I sent out PMs to those who asked about the shirts but if I missed anyone please send me a PM also.

One more comment on the barber shop. We found that going during the afternoon parade was a great time. Most people are watching the parade PLUS you get a pretty good view of the parade as it passes by the windows of the shop and you're in air conditioning too!!
