I had read that MSB had sandwiches for lunch, but don't seem to find a menu with exactly what those are? Has anyone had lunch there lately?

Not lunch, but a late meal. Had the Basil Mozzerella sandwich, HUGE slice of carrot cake and a bottled drink. It was delicious and plentiul. They have pre made sandwiches. My nephew grabbed one of those Uncrustable PB&Js and milk and was in heaven. Kids seem to love those things...:confused3

The staff was really courteous and friendly, even though they were trying to close they kept taking guests and treating them well.

This was actually my favorite CS lunch in the MK and definately on our repeat list for next time. We went in the late afternoon. They also serve breakfast stuff, but I'm guessing the sandwiches are out by noon.

The sandwiches are premade, but clearly made fresh that morning. I saw the mozzerella one, they also had a turkey one, we had the ham & cheese on multigrain bread. I can't remember if they had any other sandwich choices. the ham & cheese was one of the best sandwiches I had on our trip. It was huge with good quality meat and soft bread. I *think* they might have also had salads, but I can't recall that for sure. No french fries or hot sandwiches or anything, but they had a variety of chips and snack stuff. So, very simple but terrific quality. We also got a frozen latte which was very good as well.

The desserts were a whole other story-this place is a great place to go to just for the excuse of getting a dessert! We split some apple cake thing which was great. Their desserts are all huge-we saw a family of 4 split a cinnamon bun!

Service was great and I especially love the atmosphere. There is just something very special and relaxing about dining on Main St.

LOL Yeah, those cinnamon buns really are HUGE!!! :rotfl: Last September, we used a snack credit for one and there was more than enough for DH, myself, DD8, and DD1 to share. It was yummy too!

DH & I got the Basil Mozzarella Sandwiches the day the kids wanted Casey's. They were absolutely wonderful! The best part is that if you are on the dining plan any dessert in the place is included! HMMM!

I don't recall there being many (if any) tables in the Bakery. Where are your favorite places to sit down and eat?

There are tables in the bakery and they turn over fairly quickly. We have always been able to get a seat there (we never go to MK on Saturdays, though :) ).

Re: sandwich choices, there is no menu because there are just 3 or 4 premade sandwiches to choose from, plus a bazillion bakery-type items (pastries, cookies, ice cream, etc.). The sandwiches are very fresh and tasty.

We love this place! Had the turkey, cranberries and brie cheese sandwich - very tasty.
