Main Street Bakery - Cheesecake with strawberries

When we visited the bakery in September, they were no longer serving the cheesecake with strawberry sauce, much to our disappointment. In its place was a cheesecake with a jellied-type sauce swirled into the cheesecake itself (not very good, pretty dry).

The bakery was in the midst of a rehab; in fact, the next day we went, it was closed altogether - temporarily I'm sure.

I was wondering whether this new cheesecake was a permanent change to the menu?

I have just returned from my Disney trip and checked out the Main Street Bakery.

It's true. The cheesecake with strawberry sauce is gone from the bakery's dessert case.

The cheesecake now being sold is a white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry jelly swirled throughout.

The remodel was insignificant; just changing a few of the counters.

What a shame. I sure would love to have a nice big slice of cheese cake now, but not a dry one with jelly stuff in it
