"Main" seating is early, right?

Hey experts:

Is main seating early? We had late seating and were waitlisted for early. Our friends resie is linked with ours and they had early. We both decided to do late. We asked our TA to take us off of the waitlist and our friends asked to be moved to late. Both TA's said no problem.

Now docs arrive and we both have early! UGH!

P.S.- Just wanted to check with you to make sure main seating is early. I know that we can check onboard and get it switched or find someone to switch with that got late and wants early.

Yes, Main seating is early 6:00 PM; late seating is 8:30 PM.

It's very easy to switch from early to late seating. The difficulty is only when doing the opposite.

Have your travel agent fix it now. Everything will be fine whan you board (and somebody on the waitlist for early seating will be happy).

They run Eastern during sea days and CC day. At the ports, they change the ship clock to the port time, so at St. Thomas and St. Martin, you can be one hour ahead of EST, in Cozumel and Grand Cayman you can be one hour behind EST.

Thanks for the quick reply. We are doing the 7 day Western so we will be losing an hour when we go down, catching back up to our normal time and then losing the hour again. Oh well I am sure our stomaches will adjust. Think we will stay at our main seating time.

I was thinking the same thing Horace. It should probably make some group very happy to move off of the waitlist for early!
