Main gate or GC entry for EE tomorrow?

We will be going straight to CarsLand and hopefully doing RSR if it's up and running. Should we enter through the main gate or through the Grand Californian entry? I have heard to go through the main gates ... any tips? Also ... what's the quickest route to RSR once inside? Thanks so much!

For EMH use the main gate even if you are staying at the GCH. Why? Because most everyone in line for an EMH are Disney hotel guests so there will be Disney hotel guests at the main gates and the GCH entrance. And the main gates have bigger capacity and more efficient handling of security. For others visiting after Oct 1, the GCH entrance will likely be better on non-EMH days for DCA.
