Of course I can't find the link right now, but I read (I think on Disney Dollarless?) that packing food to take on the plane could be a problem.
They had a link to the TSA.gov site with a warning that some food items can give a false-positive reading to the screening exquipment which greatly increases the chances that your checked bags may be searched outside of your presence. I'll try to find that link and post it here.
I know it seemed easier to me to just mail the dry goods and use the quick grocery stop to get the perishables. No one wants an unnecessary hassle at the airport.
