Bummer that they stopped it, can you drop it off for them to send to reg mail somewhere though for sure? We are going without my husband, and I would love the kids to send him a postcard every day .

I've seen several mailboxes around DL. I believe there is one at the hub. I can't remember where I saw the others. I'm sure a CM can direct you're having trouble finding one.
I mail a postcard to myself on every trip. I send it to my office so I get it a few days after I get home. It's always from Mickey or one of the other characters telling me how much fun they had seeing me. Makes me smile when I'm missing Disneyland! There are several mailboxes in Disneyland. I normally use the one by the photo store on Main Street.
I'm sure they do but I'm not sure where. Maybe the big stores might sell stamps. Don't hotels usually sell postage? I would think you could ask at the front desk of your hotel.
Inside the locker area just off Main Street, there is a stamp machine. Silly me though...I bought regular US stamps, then when my postcards arrived at home, they had been stamped "postage due" I didn't realize I needed extra postage to mail a postcard home to Canada at least they delivered them anyway!
Be sure to bring quarters! Last time I was there, the machine (which is supposed to take all sorts of change and dollars too) was only taking quarters (I was able to get some from the front desk at my hotel).
Stamps are available in the locker area at DL resort and also in the first shop to the left in DCA. I can never remember the name of it. Anyway, you can get stamps at both locations from machines, they also have many mailboxes around. When I do Fairy Godmailers we always mail the postcards from inside the parks.
I ordered stamps to bring with us...at zazzle.com you can pick out virtually any disney clipart and have a sheet of regular 42c stamps printed out. You can also personalize them which I thought was very clever and, for me, justified the price. Ours had a reclining Mickey looking like he is just hanging out with the words "---- Family Vacation!) underneath. The final price for a sheet of 20 stamps was about $21 including shipping but they are oh so cute!
I can't seem to figure out how to put a pic of them up here...sorry.
Thanks everyone for the tips, the postcards are still coming in the mail, We mailed 1-2 every day to my dh so the kids would be thinking of him, and he would know it . I got the stamps at the lockers, it was an easy kiosk.. bring extra bills as it doesn't take cards, and those can be picky. There are mailboxes in every land. One right out side the photoshop on mainstreet was an easy drop. There are two right at the tunnels on the way into the park, and the fantasyland one is to the right after you go through the castle..
