Mailing address for Lisa (Tiger Fan) *corrected* **again...home address** page 2

I know a number of folks have asked on the thread I posted last night, as well as in a number of PM's, for Lisa's mailing address, to drop a card and/or a note.

I called Lisa to get the address of the hospital.......

Lisa only talked briefly, VERY tired, tough to talk. The nurse was there working on her port. Lisa did say she was having a tough day, radiation, plus having trouble with her gross more skills. I did tell her that, as always, many, many folks from here on the DIS were wishing her well, keeping her in their prayers, and as always, she was graciously appreciative.


I'll add this also on the thread, but thought good to post separately also.

I looked up Greenville Hospital on Grove Rd & Google shows it in South Carolina, not North Carolina - you might want to verify the address.

Lisa's partner, Lynn, called from home late last night . She said the doctors were probably going to be sending Lisa home in a day or so, thinking that being at home between radiation treatments will be more helpful than her being in the hospital. She said the doctors acknowledge that one can be/get sicker in a hospital than out. So true. And being home is much better for one's spirits.

So, she said, regarding cards/notes, maybe best to send to her home. Her home address is...

I talked with Lynn for 15 minutes or so. And Emily too. Both are looking to be out of school soon (Lynn is a teacher). It was nice to talk to them both again.

Lynn said Lisa's spirits are good, though acknowledging. She said the doctors were asking her if she has a Disney trip planned, knowing how the trips do so very much for her spirits. They so have a trip planned and booked for late this month, first part of next. Lisa's has a scooter and all. If they have to cancel, she is waiting to the last minute, again, knowing how much Disney does for her well being and state of mind, and that being so very important in any health battle, mental state and attitude. She loves it there so.

Little Emily (well, not so little anymore, now 12 ) is playing baseball, looking forward to end of school, hoping to go to Disney, and concerned about mom, not all in that order.

You can use that hospital address I am sure, and they will forward or call for pickup, so if you have sent, don't worry. Just Lynn said it looks like home soon.

And can you believe it, Lynn, when she called, started out with an apology from Lisa, for sounding so tired (meds) when I called the other day for hospital address. Can you imagine that, with all that is going on in her life, saying she is sorry for sounding tired. Lisa, Lisa, Lisa. She also said to thank you all for so much.
