Mailing a box to resort

In the past I have always mailed a "timeshare box" to the resort with some basics and things I didn't want to schlep in my suitcase.
I remember reading about a change to this policy.
Does anyone know what the change might be..if any??

You will be charged a handling fee for each box if shipped to the following DVC resorts: BCV, BWV, and BLT. the fee is usually $5 to $10 per box depending on weight and size. Deliveries at those locations are processed by IKON a contracted vendor.

Is that because these resorts having meeting space for conventions? It doesn't include the other DVC resorts?

That is correct. There have also been reports that Bell Services is cleaning out their storage areas nightly and any items stored for more than 24 hours is sent to convention storage at BLT, BCV, and BWV. At other resorts, the items are being sent to lost and found.
