mahi mahi at Coral Reef

Has anyone had the Mahi Mahi at CR? I'm not a fish eater AT ALL. I only eat tuna but I am feeling adventurous and was told mahi mahi is a great fish with a mild taste. I was thinking of trying it since it looked so good in pictures!

Mahi mahi is a very mild fish and I think it's one of Coral Reef's best dishes. I recently had it again 4 months ago. It comes with a tropical salsa that is strong enough tasting that if you were concerned about the fish taste, the salsa will probably help.

I get this dish every time I eat at CR.

I'm not a fish person, but I did try the Mahi-mahi on our trip last week. It was SO delicious, perhaps the best meal I had all week. I sure hope they keep it on the menu.

Does the salsa have mango in it? It's my only food allergy, and I thought I'd covered all my bases calling about the luau... Apparently not!

I agree...the Mahi Mahi at the CR is delish! It's the only thing I've ever ordered there...when I find a winner, why stray?

I've actually not had it since last November, before it switched to the tropical salsa, but I'm sure it will still be just as good next month.

My sister had it when we were there a couple weeks ago. I had the steak. I took a bite of her food, and wished I would have ordered it. The steak was good, but not as good as hers.

Of course, I always wish I would have ordered what the person next to me did. LOL

Oh yeah, forgot about the rice. It was so good too. I'm so glad I tried the dish. DD had the child's version of the mahi mahi and loved it as well. I didn't taste it but she is usually such a picky eater and kept asking for mahi mahi the rest of the trip.

I loved this one. It's not very fishy..it's mild like salmon. I asked for the sauce on the side and didn't use it..it was still really tasty and something I would definitely get again next time.

The mahi mahi is just delicious. It doesn't taste fishy at all. If you don't like rice, you can substitute it for potatoes. I did that in August. My DD had the rice and thought it was great.
