Magnetic bathroom/tub/shower walls and ceilings ?

This question applies to each of the five ships, and the answer could be different for each...

Are the ceilings and walls of the (bathrooms) and (tubs/showers) magnetic ?

For example, I am thinking there is a good chance that the tile walls of the tub/shower may not be (tiles getting in the way between the actual magnetic wall behind the tiles and the magnet), but is the ceiling ?

What about the non-tiles wall and ceiling in the rest of the bathroom and in the toilet room in a split bath ?

The walls are tile - not sure about the Wish. I think it's a bit of a drop ceiling for the water pipes, lighting, exhaust fan - but still might be metal. Not sure.

Ah yes I had forgotten the walls were tile all around, thank you for the reminder and nice pictures! I figure the walls may well be magnetic behind the tile but the tile will be too thick to prevent magnets working on them.

I don't even know. Lets call them tile-look A quality prefab vinyl system would probably be lighter and easier for them to maintain.

Exactly it is a lightweight pre-fab material over the metal shell of the room. Ceramic tiles would add weight to the ship. The probability of a strong magnetic hook holding in the bathroom is pretty good.

Not on the FANTASY, grouted tile, I just double checked and it doesn't seem any different than the other 3 ships. Haven't been on the WISH yet. They even use grouted tile on many of the higher end RV's especially the Motohomes.

Maybe the tiles are thinner than normal so not as heavy? I AM curious as to what you had planned to attach to the bathroom walls with magnets???? I actually bought an old National Geographic map of the Caribbean (the islands haven't moved in 40 years) to follow along on the route and am planing to stick that on a wall (with magnets). Also bringing binoculars. Another cruiser said he could see Havana!
