I got a package last night from pepsicube. The magnet was of Sudbury Hall/the Museum of Childhood. It's so neat because I got not only the awesome magnet but also some literature that gave a lot of really detailed information about the Museum of Childhood. Very cool! Thanks so much!

I hope my magnets arrive to their recipients soon.

We were away late last week, so I didn't get a chance to get online - then when I did manage on the weekend, the Disboards were down So here we are...
When we arrived home on Saturday I discovered a package had arrived with two lovely magnets from Rochester, along with a very cute little UK bear charm. Thank you very much Joa!
Yesterday (Monday Mar 23rd) I received two very nice magnets from Scotland, and a lovely postcard along with some Scottish *treats*. I'm trying to share the treats, so everyone here can have a taste of Scotland - they are very yummy. I do want to add that the term 'crabbit' is going to be put into use around here, when appropriate ... we are already familiar with crabby. Thank you spookysarah!

Glad you enjoyed the package. I'm not sure I remember what treats I put in (tablet maybe?) but I hope you enjoy them. LOl that you like the word crabbit, there are loads of fab Scottish words.

I'm really pleased the Niagara Falls magnets arrived and that you like them...seems like they traveled quickly
As nice as it is to live near Niagara Falls - I grew up in this area and *never* tire of seeing them - I sincerely doubt you would want to swap houses, or at least not until our renovations are signficantly closer to completion ... some day we'll get there.

Today I received yet another package full of surprises. This one is from Ormskirk. A lovely postcard magnet and a decorative flower, a couple of handy dandy reminder magnets and some cute clips with hearts...plus a couple of postcards with recipes - one for gingerbread and one for a hotpot (looks a bit like a type of stew, at least it looks that way from reading it through).
Thank you so much for putting such a nice package together Justjo.
I love all of it...but the cook in me is wondering about a couple of ingredients
black treacle - is this the same as molasses?
golden syrup - is something thick like Lyle's golden corn syrup required, or can I use regular corn syrup?
