Please forgive my ignorance, but what is a key to the world?

Your personalized Resort ID Card is your Key to the World. You only get one of these if you are staying on Disney property with a package from Disney. I am not sure about those who order their packages through AAA or such. They may stil get one but it also may be a paper ticket.

Ooooh I want one!!! Is this something that Disney is sending everyone staying onsite or do you have to have a package booked? I have "room only" booked for our June trip so I hope we get one too!!!

I've gotten this packet for the last 3 years for my trips. I book room only so everyone must get them.

I don't know why some get them and some don't...I always get them. Even if I change my reservation, I get another packet. I wish I had kept the extras...I'd send you one!

BTW the seals on mine have always been broken, and I wondered why the mail carriers would be so interested in my DW maps, lol...I never thought about the mail sorters.

Thanks for your kindness Ariel Wanna-be, my reservations aren't until July maybe that is why I haven't gotten yet. I am also thinking maybe because I booked on the disneyworld website has something to do with it.

Of course it is my "Virgo" nature to want every piece of material that is offered to me to PLAN my trip, that is why I am obsessing over it...LOL!!!

Wow you guys got all that in your packet?? ALL I recieved in mine was a sheet saying what had ordered, IE 5 days, 4 nights at Pop with Park Hopper and 3 Tinkerbell Luggage Tags! That is IT?! I didn't get any of that other stuff you guys are talkinga bout..

My next trip isn't until September but I got my packet 2 weeks after I booked my room. They always come that way for me.

Its a general information that Disney send out to all guest.....

Mine said something like "We are so glad you are returning in May." Same maps, same resort information they sent last year and the year before that. I get one everytime I book a reservation.

If you want one you can have mine. I have four of them because of changing reservation dates/packages

For a first-timer however this would be something special.

BTW, my gold foils where ripped open too and I live in Minnesota so it must be a sorting maching issue.
