We will be at BWV for 5 days. I am already dreading the magic band fast pass plus experience.
This maybe a dumb question but...
We are planning on only going to a park 2 or 3 days. We have non expiring passes that
have 5 days on them . Can I make FP reservation for the five days on the passes and then decide what days we will go to parks? Once we make fp ressies are those days considered used?

Can we cancel and save days fro next year?
we usually like to play it by ear and are not happy about all of this pre planning.

We are buying annual passes for universal and plan on going there this year and next.

I just realized I have a bunch of old tickets and have no idea which are which.

Is there a way to check online? what is still valid?

You'll be restricted to making FP's for the number of days that you have on your ticket but days are not used until you actually enter the park.

Regarding checking how many days are on a ticket - nope. I've heard they used to let you call in and ask but stopped that some time ago so the only way to check is in person at a GS location.

Thanks for quick response. So If I enter a ticket # and it lets me make FP can I assume that that ticket is valid?

It's probably never safe to assume, but MDE knew when I tried to make more FP selections than I had days left. It did ask which day I wanted to cancel before it would confirm the extra day's selections.

IF it's a fairly new ticket, the system will let you link and it will actually give you how many days are left. CAUTION. We have two tickets each, one expiring ten day after first use and a non-expiring for trips tha has six days left, we use for weekend trips. I was Warned to make sure that the band reads the expiring ticket and NOT the non-expiring ticket during our June trip. Wish I had never linked the non-expiring as every trip that I don't use the non-expiring I will have to confirm which ticket they used while at the gate. You can't unlink once it's in the system...they claim it will invalidate that ticket. Not looking forward to Linking my AP after this June trip. Lesson learned... I still have a few one day tickets that I had to get when we purchased a package when we has APs. That will be another cluster. :faint:

I have concerns about this as well - we have an assortment of non-expiring tix that we will use for water parks etc and also plan to use run disney tix for our trip...what is the process for making sure they take the entitlement from the right ticket? Is it right at the 'turnstile' (what do we call it now??) area??

System froze on me again. Also when did they start requiring a cc for dining reservations.

How much they charge if you don't cancel in 24 hour window?

They expanded credit cards for dining a few months ago. You must cancel by midnight of the day before or pay $10 per person.

You can keep the ticket you want activated (your expiring ticket) and the other ticket can show not active. I have 2 tickets linked to MDE and only the expiring ticket shows active.

I had a bunch of old tickets that I brought with me. These were older tickets that wouldn't show anything on MDE. At the BLT concierge, they said they could put them in MDE, but they would be assigned to me, my DH or DD. At the MK guest services, they turned them into RFID tickets, hard copies, which can be put in to MDE as needed. Most only had water park days.....but a ton of them! LOL I have only 1 NE ticket in MDE. I think I will keep it that way until that ticket is used up.

How do you get your ticket to be "not active"? I was just on MDE, and I couldn't find a way to do this....

Thanks!

go to your magic bands and cards page. click on the card you want to activate or deactivate at the bottom of the page. the next screen will give you the option to activate a card or magic band that is deactivated or vice versa.
