Magicbands and Small Children

For those of you who have children, at what age are your children wearing the magicbands? What ages are you keeping the magicbands with you and if you are keeping them with you are you wearing them or storing them in a bag?

My just five year old will be wearing his.

I took my 4y/o in October and I kept his band in an easily accessible pocket in my bag. My son is not one to wear things on his wrist, but you'll have to see what works for your family.

My 7 year old has worn one on 2 different trips with no issues. She usually complains about everything as she has OCD, but the band did not bother her and she wore it all day.

Just returned traveled with 2 DS 5,7. 5 year old loved his and wore it everywhere. 7 year old hated on his wrist so I put it on my cross body purse strap, easily accessible to use when needed and worked perfectly. You will just have to see what best works for you and yours!

We were there in late October. . . DD5 loved wearing hers, no problems there. It was a bit of a novelty for DD3, she would wear it for a few minutes then pull it right off. I ended up wearing hers as well as mine and didn't mind that (I know some do prefer not to have anything/too many things on their wrist). Sometimes we'd attach it to the strap of our bag, too.

DD was 16 months and she insisted on wearing it the whole trip! As soon as she saw it she would hold out her wrist for us to put it on, and eventually it had to be hidden from her once we got home. It was too cute.

My five year old kept it on the whole trip. We got him one of the Pirate covers, and he thought it was awesome. He never wanted to take it off. I could see it being an issue for age 3 or under though. But play it by ear.
