Could someone give me a brief overview of the perks of the magicband+
I am using one for the first time on my upcoming trip

The perks are that it connects wirelessly to different items around the parks to allow you to play games or make statues talk, etc., and it lights up in time to the fireworks music. It’s rechargeable, so presumably it will do these things and also link ride photos to your account as long as you keep it charged.

Otherwise it works for all tap functions just like the old MBs do, whether the batteries are working or not.

Downside, loses the charge quickly if you play games. It lights and blinks while charging and it’s bright (something to consider at night). The connection to the charger can be tricky. I’ve already thought it was charging only to find out it wasn’t. Sometimes pairing to my phone is super easy and sometimes I have trouble. It has to be charged to pair properly.
