Magicband Question

I am buying character bands as a surprise, so will have these in the mail soon. Can I attach these to my current reservation online somehow or do I need to take to the resort at check in to activate?

Once you receive them add them to your My Disney Experience Account and you will be good to go.

Maybe, maybe not. Not everyone that does Online Check In is able to Bypass The Front Desk. Some will still have to stop by the Online Check In desk. Nobody knows how they determine who gets to Bypass The Front Desk and who doesn't. I think they use the same algorithm that they do to determine who gets PIN Codes and who doesn't.
