Magicband Question

I have a quick question about Magicbands and know the experts here can help me out! I have read the LONG thread and might be confused. I have an on-site hotel reservation, have tickets linked and have customized our Magic Bands. Question is. Will they send the bands to us before our trip? We plan to stay off site for 2 days before checking in and would like to use the waterpark and more portion of our tickets. Does this all work out? The Magicband in the mail with tickets linked and we can use the waterpark portion before checking in? Don't need the fastpass portion before check in day.

I am hoping we don't have to check into hotel before we can get out magic bands.

Your MagicBands will be sent to you a few weeks prior to your trip.

If you purchased tickets separately and not as part of a package, you can go to a water park before you check in to your resort. If your tickets are part of a package, you'll need to activate your tickets at a Guest Relations location up to three days in advance of your package check-in date.

You should get them about three weeks before your check in date. I know you can go to the parks before checking in to the hotel, but I am not sure about using them several days before.
