So our plan is to get AP's on our next trip in November. We are staying offsite this time, but plan on staying onsite next time. My question is, how do we customize/receive MagicBands?
From what I could find, I get that if we buy them online in advance we get a voucher that we redeem at Customer Relations or we pick them up at Will Call. We would then customize our MagicBands and wouldn't be able to get any while we are there, unless we buy them at DTD or use our ugly grey ones from our last trip. Then, once customized, we have to have them sent to a US address... which essentially means our resort on our next trip to Disney. Meaning, in October 2015 (assuming we don't take an impromptu trip before that) we will finally get our customized MagicBands??
Does that sound right? Because that sounds awful to me..
