Hello,

Staying offsite however I have purchased Genie Plus and will likely get the Lighting Lanes passes for a few rides. I also have reservations for dining and droid building. Would it be worth to get a magic band or would it even work (since I'm not staying on-site) to hold all our ticket information and reservations?

Thanks in advance!

A MagicBand is not necessary, though it kind of makes it easy to tap at attractions when needed. Another option is to request a hard plastic ticket; I think you can do so as you enter the first park. Otherwise, you'll need to show your phone all the time.

So if you make LL reservations on Genie and have a magic band, can you just scan your magic band at the LL entrance? Or do you have to do something with your phone? I guess I'm asking whether your band is connected to your Genie LL selections?

Just scan your MB, nothing more. Your MB should be linked to your MDE account, which automatically links it to any Genie, Genie+ or ILL$ information in your account. Guests who don’t have MBs can choose to use their phones or can get ticket cards to scan, just different options.
