Magicband+ Linking After DLR

I have Magicband+ linked to the DL app. My next trip is to WDW. Is the best course of action to unlink first from the DL app, unpair from Bluetooth, then link to the WDW app?

Interesting question. Have you tried just linking them in the WDW app without unlinking from DL?

We’ve not had a problem with the bands being linked in both apps. I’d just leave them linked to DL.

I have not tried anything yet, but I have read of issues when doing so. The reports I've seen are actually from the other way - originally linked to WDW then trying to link to DLR. Maybe it's not an issue when doing DLR to WDW.

Let me know what happens. As you know, I go to Disneyland frequently. I haven't been to WDW in years, but am planning a trip for next year. I'm curious if I will have a problem syncing back to my DLR account when I get back. Maybe I should use an old MB+ at WDW and keep my newer one for DLR.

That's a great idea to use an old MB+. I have two older ones I don't use, so maybe we'll try those ones. We're not going until spring, so we have some time still.

We will both need to figure out how to use LLMP with pre-booking. It's a whole new world!

I've had no issues using my MB+ at both resorts without unlinking. Mine were both linked to DL first. (And in fact I don't remember having to link them to WDW but I suppose I must have.)
Sidenote: In looking at mine just now I see that there's an update available to install.

Thank you. I'm curious if anyone has done all three without unlinking - DLR, WDW, and DCL!
