has anyone taken the insert out of the box?

We did and found a little instruction sheet...never would have seen that if my hubby was not the type of person who likes to take everything apart!

I noticed that today when mine arrived today...but then again I take everything apart....

We only have two bands, but after disassembling the part where the bands get held in the box, the box actually holds 5 bands (you can rip the grey paper off, to reveal the holes, or just open the sides of the inner box to see the cutouts. Pretty neat how they can "one size fits most")

I got one box per Reservation. One Reservation has four people and they fit. If you have five or six or more in the reservation I don't know if they would all fit in one box.

I wish they didn't even come in the boxes. It's a complete waste of money in my opinion throw them in a bag and let it be. Or better yet pick up at the resort to check in. All these costs are to get transferred over to ticket price increases over the years. The biggest waste of money is sending them overnight. There is completely no reason for that.

From what I've read (and it could be incorrect), the overnight shipping is only during the testing phases, since there's a much shorter turnaround between enable and check-in. Once the system goes live, it's expected to use less intensive methods (e.g. USPS).

Though, I do totally agree with having a "ship to resort" option defaulted, and passing some S&H fee over to those who want them early. I have no need of the band until after I'm down there anyway (well, I have no need of the band in general, but that's a different thread ), now it's just something else I need to pack and not forget.
