MagicBand and extra hour at WDW Parks

With using the Magic Bands, do you still have too get the arm braclet at the park if your staying after the regular closing hours or has that gone away with the Magic Band.

They haven't used wrist bands for evening EMH for years, long before Magic Bands existed. Also, anyone can stay for evening EMH, you just can't get on rides if you're not staying on property. They just scan your Magic Band at the rides.

Agreed. Perhaps the OP is thinking of hard-ticket party wristbands instead of EMH.

It's possible, but I'm glad that they are gone and love the Magic Band idea instead of how it use to be done.

Yes, showing everyone's KTTW card was a pain. I didn't like the lanyard idea, so I was the designated holder.
Letting everyone tap their magic bands is much easier

So are there magic band machines at the main entrance or do you have to use FP entrances during EMH?

You go to the attraction you want and the cast members have a hand held scanner to verify that you have a resort reservation. Main entrance unless you have a FP+

There are no FPs during EMH.
