Are you allowed to check you bags in your home airport with the ME tags but then take a towncar to your resort (without your luggage), thereby eliminating the possiblity of waits and delays. Then ME will deliver the luggage after your arrival?

I just want the best of both... not having to deal with luggage and no waits..

What do you think?

No, they will not transport only the luggage.

No people riding= no luggage transported

When you get to MCO you have to go to the DME check-in desk. There they will give you a voucher that the bus driver scans. Until you get on that bus, your luggage stays at MCO, waiting for you to board the bus. So, if you use those luggage tags, and then you hop into a towncar...your stuff will never get to your resort. But, the two times I have used DME I have been in the check-in line at my resort within an hour of landing. The only time I have made it quicker using a towncar was when I did carry-on luggage only. If you have to go to the baggage area to claim your luggage, it will take almost as long with a towncar service. My luggage only took about 30 minutes to get to me once they got me into my room.

Thanks for the info.
I didn't want to do anything against the rules, I just didn't know how to play the game.
