Magical Shoes?

I love the rasta reggae sandals from skechers. I've worn them on two Disney trips, and getting ready to wear them on my third. They are rubber, and water proof. Super comfy & they come in a large variety of patterns and colors.

This was my latest shoe to add to my arsenal on our trip earlier this month. The one place they failed for me was the textured sole. And no back strap. While they stayed on fine for the most part, nothing like a flip flop I still find a back strap most secure when in rain. Love the shoe though. I find I grab for it often around home

I don't buy special shoes for Disney. I just wear my shoes that are already broken in. And it really depends on what I've purchased for the season before (luckily usually summer). And a pair of crocs for when I really need comfort! I've walk a lot, everyday, so my feet are really used to my shoes! This year we've got (among others , I have a shoe problem):

After putting a lot of miles on a lot of different shoes in the parks last year I ended up loving my Teva's Hurricane more than anything else.
When I say I've tried every shoe mentioned in this thread, I'm not kidding. Every single brand listed, I've taken it and worn it at Disney.
It's rather absurd how many pairs of shoes I've bought and taken to Disney. Embarrassing actually. From the most expensive to the least. Some are ok but none beat out the Hurricane's, even other Teva
Anyway, these ended up being the shoes that have turned in to THE perfect park shoe, wet or dry, doesn't matter. They are truly my Magical Shoe
Oddly enough, they even enabled me to break my other rule regarding shoes at Disney, I can wear these every day for a 10 day trip and have happy feet. Prior to these, I needed to change shoes each day

Fit Flops are my magic shoes too. I got my first pair several years ago at Disney, with Mickey heads on them. I've long since worn those out-I wish they'd make those again. I can walk all day in my Fit Flops without hurting. I also like my sketcher Go-Walks and Teva Mush.

I also love the Mickey FitFlops, they were so cute. I wish they would make them again.

A lot of the shoes people on these boards love, are TERRIBLE for people with very narrow feet. I had a pair of fitflops for about a week before they went to goodwill - they were cutting into my feet trying to keep them on. The bottoms of them were like pillows, but didn't matter if you can't keep the suckers on without rubbing! Birenstocks are completely lost - I end up kicking them off as much as wearing them My mom has the same problem (guess who I inherited my skinny monkey feet from?). I'm big on thong sandals with a back, or any kind of sandals with a back. I can wear some flip flops, but I do have foot drop which manifests every once in a blue moon and when it does, I wear a short wedge to help, the kind that are kinda spongy when you step, and flip flops become a way for me to fall down faster. I take a lot of shoes to WDW for that reason.

I hate wearing running/walking/athletic shoes in WDW. I wear these kinds of shoes for running, or walking, which I have different shoes for I purchased at the local running store where they determine gait and such. I hate wet feet/socks (even moisture wicking).

There are tons of threads on this and its a fun topic! My basic tenant is - I don't care what anyone is wearing, as long as I don't have to hear any complaints

I know your pain. I posted on another thread not too long ago about my trials and tribulations with trying to find a pair of sandals for my narrow feet. Without serious buckles/straps/velcro etc. shoes just don't stay on without flopping around or falling off entirely. I mourn so many styles I'd love to wear but just can't! Thankfully, I like sneakers so I can wear those.

Right there with you all. {narrow feet} I bought 2 pair of Clark's sandals for my trip to WDW in 2015 and neither would stay on! I can't really wear mules or slides for that reason either.

I do love the Nike Celso for home use.

The shoes I have loved the most were discontinued - Crocs Ocean Minded were GREAT for my trip 2 years ago.

I do have to switch out shoes though. I just can't wear anything for that much walking.

I didn't even realize they still made/sold Crocs? I remember Mario Batali on The Chew once saying how he bought out a lifetime supply of them because he was afraid of them being discontinued.

FitFlops. I bring a couple pair, plus New Balance running shoes. I switch shoes every day. I had read that suggestion years ago, and it works very well for me. No foot problems at all.

We never do open-close park days and usually have some downtime in the pool/room but we do also like a good walk. I'm pretty comfortable in Vans/Converse although I do enjoy the odd running shoe day. Pro tip (or just common sense): try and avoid black!
Next trip I'm going to see how wearing sandals holds up just for the evenings. I've walked a fair few holiday miles in them!

My mother is the only one who has any problems with her feet and she's had numerous 'comfy' hyped up shoes in the past but she's recently got herself some Skecher Go Walks and they seem to be a winner!

I will be wearing them in about a month to Disney, but I wear them all of the time at home, wore them all across New Orleans, walking 10 plus miles a day, all over Seattle, and generally everywhere. For reference, I have flatter, wider feet with bouts of PF and Achilles issues. I like that my feet can breath and they just don't feel hot or tired. I will likely bring two pairs and my tennis shoes, but I am planning the majority of time to be lived in those FitFlops. Now, if I could only figure out what to put on my kids' feet!

FitFlops give me enough support. What I like the most about them is the bottom is rather thick, and, to me, is very cushion-y. I find them online at Amazon, Ebay and also at DSW. Some stores carry them as well.

DW and I recently discovered Telic sandals. Anyone ever try those on the parks? They are super comfortable, so I am thinking of trying them out when I'm back in August. Typically, I always just wear running shoes. The downside of those is going to be that they won't dry quickly when we get caught in the inevitable thunderstorm. That isn't the case with the Telics. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I haven't heard of those. Looking them up the appear to be just like OOFOS. Competing brands designed for the same purpose, best I can tell. If so, they are great shoes. I tried them for a full day in the park and I didn't love them for 10+ hours but do love them for the room at night or for shorter times in the park. They are great for wet too. DH got a pair and also likes his. He has slides, I have the flip flop type

Just wondering - has anyone ever tried using a product on their feet to keep them dry? I saw something in the store called Liquid gloves - it looks like it is supposed to provide a barrier between water and skin... just wondering if something like that would be helpful in the parks? Anyone ever heard of it or used it or something similar?

Omg, I have Fit Flops that are my "Disney only" shoes too! Not only do I not get blisters, sore feet etc, my feet never feel tired!

While, they are not exactly stylish, I Love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
