Has anyone gone to past Magical Pride events? How is it, as far as crowds and overall vibe? It looks like it could be a lot of fun if it isn't a total madhouse, and I assume since it is a Disney Parks event it is all-ages friendly.

I haven't been, but I dont think it is madhouse. If tickets are still available then you know for example that there will be less AP holders. They are usually the first to know and if there are many or few AP is important for crowds at shows and special characters, then things can get chaotic.

Yeah, tickets and packages are still available. I love the idea of the late night in the park - I really miss the good old days of being able to stay at the Magic Kingdom at WDW until 2am if I timed the trip right! - and I know my daughters would love being at Disney's first/only official Pride event. The videos I found from YouTubers who went in 2019 look like pretty typical party conditions - moderate to long lines for characters, especially rare characters and Mickey & Minnie in their special outfits, shortish waits for attractions, most of the crowds concentrated around the entertainment.

I did end up pulling the trigger on the event package. I like that it is more flexible than booking through DLRP directly - we have 3 nights at Art of Marvel, but only 2-day hoppers plus the hard-ticket event, which I think will work nicely since DLRP is our first destination after arriving in Europe and we'll probably want arrival day to adjust to the time difference. I know we're not likely to have time to see and do everything but from what I've read I think we'll have time for the highlights and the things that are unique to the Paris parks, which is what's most important to me, and I love that summer park hours there seem to be a little more night owl-friendly than at the US parks.

So now it is on to waiting for news on restaurant reopenings - I really want to try Walt's! - and pesky details like booking the real world parts of the trip (Paris, UK and Ireland for a revolving cast of up to 7 at times!).
